Job Description:
As a Screeemfest Makeup Artist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Screeemfest experience for our guests. Your creative talents will be on full display as you create haunting and terrifying makeup looks for our haunted house actors. You will collaborate closely with your leadership team to ensure a cohesive and bone-chilling appearance.
Responsibilities:
• Apply makeup to scare actors and performers according to the pre-determined look.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment to meet production deadlines.
• Provide touch-ups and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards for makeup application tools and products.
• Assist where help is needed after main makeup duties have ended.
• Knowing all emergency protocols and executing them properly in the event of an emergency.
Qualifications:
• Experience as a makeup artist, preferably in a theatrical, horror, or entertainment setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in special effects makeup and creative use of prosthetics is a plus!
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during the Screeemfest season.
• Enthusiasm for horror and Halloween-themed events is a definite plus!

As a haunted house actor, you will be provided a costume and assigned to one of our 5 haunted attractions or Park midway areas. All makeup is done by our Screeemfest Makeup Artists on-site. Main responsibilities include:
- Scaring the living daylights out of our Guests within the guidelines of our standard operating procedures
- Ensure smooth entry and exit to your assigned haunted attraction room or area
- Support all efforts needed to operate haunts including preparation, operation and teardown as needed.
- Knowing and executing all emergency protocols in the event of an emergency.
Terrifying guests can be physically demanding work, involving bending over, lifting, jumping, leaning and crouching.
You will likely be placed in a dark, loud and small space. If any of these indicators seem uncomfortable to you, we strongly recommend applying for a Screeemfest Ops Team position.
Additional responsibilities may include assisting in operation of the Park’s haunted attractions, helping with on-site and offsite promotional events, and interacting with Guests to provide an outstanding experience.

As a Screeemfest Ops Team Member, you will be provided a jacket and assigned to one of our 5 haunted attractions or Park midway areas.
Main responsibilities include:
- Communicating via radio with our leadership team for any Guest/Team Member needs.
- Ensure smooth entry and exit of our Guests to your assigned haunted attraction.
- Preventing line jumping in our Haunted House queue lines.
- Informing our Guests of our policies if they aren’t following them properly.
- Knowing and executing all emergency protocols in the event of an emergency.
As an Ops Team Member, please keep in mind you will be standing for long periods of time, using a radio device for communication and acting as access control for our Screeem Express program.
Additional responsibilities may include assisting in operation of the Park’s haunted attractions, helping with on-site and offsite promotional events, and interacting with Guests to provide an outstanding experience.
